2010 LYPA Rising Stars

Now accepting nominations!  LYPA needs your support with our annual Rising Stars program which is designed to honor individuals under the age of 40 who are emerging leaders in the Lexington Community. Nominate friends, colleagues or anyone you think is an emerging leader in the Lexington Community! 

Deadline for submitting nomination forms is 6pm on Friday, August 6th.  The annual recognition event will be held as a luncheon on Friday, August 27th and is open to the public.



Bark to School Concert to benefit the Lexington Humane Society
August 7th

Join us for the 2nd Annual Bark to School Concert "Bark Around The Clock", 6pm-10pm at Talon Winery. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the gate. Enjoy live music by The Torques. Talon wine will be available for purchase along with food from Bourbon and Toulouse and JJ McBrewster’s.

Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center, BRCC-B-Q
Saturday, August 28th

The BBQ takes place at Good Ol’ Days in Midway from 6:30 - 10:00 pm.  There will be barbecue, live music from The Quack, a silent auction and activities for families or kids.  Tickets are $40 per person, $10 for children under 12 and free for babies under 3.
